My sister and brother in law for example. They aren't big sports fans, though my b-i-l will watch occasionally.

So the NFL (the home team at least) will still always be there for casual people like that, people who would never pay for a package just to get sports. Other sports will just completely disappear off the radar of people like that and will thus never be in a position to grow their fanbase. Like MLB. Baseball fans like me will always find a way to watch and it will be a factor in our decisions to cut the cord or to choose a streaming service. But it will cease to exist for people who aren't interested enough to pay for it and become more of a niche sport than it already is starting to become.
